TSF Productions presents
THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES
The universal tale of self-awareness
Craig Babcock and Richard Stillman present Joe Cosentino's clever and imaginative adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen story.
This rich performance, full of music, comedy, dancing, colorful scenery and costumes, and a lively array of musical instruments, is replete with social values, including self-esteem, friendship, honesty, humility, responsibility, and the importance of reading.
The kingdom is falling to pieces because Emperor Maximillian the Magnificent cares about nothing but his appearance. His twin brother, Duke Dudley, is desperately trying to keep the vital services running, despite his low self-esteem. The clever trickster, Timothy Taylor, attempts to take advantage of the situation by selling the Emperor a magnificent suit of clothes, which he claims can be seen only by those who are wise, beautiful and talented. In the end, they all realize their follies, learn to respect each other, develop proper self-awareness and responsible behavior.
The Emperor's New Clothes is a humorous presentation, celebrating positive human values, which will entertain and enlighten children of all ages.
